How it works

ImageEspresso was created to give digital photographers professionally-looking results without requiring them to spend much time or money. It's practically a one-click tool. It's very affordable. It's simply perfect for people seeking a powerful and effective, yet intuitive and user-friendly way to edit digital images.

ImageEspresso can handle all of the most common photo editing requirements, such as:

  • Rotating, Cropping, and Resizing images
  • Batch image processing
  • One-click image enhancements (corrects brightness, saturation and contrast, with a single mouse click)
  • Manual Balance (slider controls to manually adjust Brightness, Saturation, Contrast)
  • Dark Area Correction - you can selectively correct just the overly dark areas of your images
  • Image Histogram Analysis and Adjustment
  • Red-Eye elimination
  • One-click Automatic Image Noise Reduction
  • Manual Image Noise Reduction
  • Black-and-White or Sepia conversions
  • Preparing images for printing

The main window in ImageEspresso (see below) contains simple and intuitive menus and controls. At the very top of the window there are typical pull-down menus. Right below the menus you'll see a toolbar containing shortcuts to the most commonly used functions. The photos you are editing will appear in the white space below the toolbar. At the very bottom of the window you will see a status bar that displays helpful hints along with specific program and image information.

All ImageEspresso functions are available through the main pull-down menus. In addition, all of the most frequently used functions are available through the toolbar buttons. For easy navigation, these toolbar buttons are divided into several groups, based on their functionality:
