ImageEspresso may be downloaded and installed free of charge. However, some features (such as Save As, Copy, Print, etc.) are disabled until you purchase a license. See the Purchase page to obtain the license. Before downloading the free 40-day trial version of ImageEspresso please read the license page carefully.

The current version  of  ImageEspresso  is  4.02.04.  This version was released on February 27, 2009. This release includes new functions and features:

  - An extended list of supported image file formats -- anything from a standard *.BMP or *.JPG to a more sophisticated *.TIFF or *.PSD are now fully supported by ImageEspresso.
  - A new "Magnifying Glass" preview feature allows you to zoom in a just specific part of a photo, as if viewing it through a magnifying glass!
  - Faster overall performance for ALL functions! Now you can edit your photos with more power but in a fraction of a time! (This is especially critical for large image files, which most modern digital photos are, saving you both time and effort in the editing process).
 
ImageEspresso is Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista software, and it will NOT work on MacOS or Linux. Screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher is necessary.

Installation instructions

1. Download the self-extracting zip file. (4.3 megabytes)
2. Double-click on the saved installer to launch it, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Start ImageEspresso. Go to the Help menu for documentation.
4. If you have purchased a license, go to the ImageEspresso Help menu and select "Licensing…" to unlock the software. You may use the software without a license but it will run in trial mode.
